How are you doing on your New Year’s Resolutions? New routines can be tough to follow through on. We get it! We want to help everyone at The Barrel Yards be successful with their goals. So we have put together our list of the most common resolutions and how you can achieve those goals living at The Barrel Yards!
1. Get Fit!
The most common New Year’s Resolution is getting fit/losing weight. It’s on our list too! Not only is this hard to commit to, but it can also get expensive with over the top gym fees or locations not easily accessible. Luckily, when you live at The Barrel Yards, there is no need for a gym membership! We offer a fully equipped fitness centre, yoga studio and “his” and “hers” showers, and change rooms. If you want to hit the outdoors, Waterloo Park offers great walking trails, and the Waterloo Public Rink is just steps away.
2. Enjoy life to the fullest
Located in the centre of UpTown Waterloo, The Barrel Yards community is walking distance from areas steeped with local history, culture, award-winning restaurants, and eclectic retail shops. It is a perfect place to enjoy your life to the fullest, and urban explore!
3. Spend less, save more
Once you start calling The Barrel Yards your home, we want you to get to know your new community. The Barrel Rewards Card provides you with great discounts and offers to local businesses and organizations. It’s the perfect way and opportunity to get to know the community you live in and save money!
4. Spend time with family
We believe spending time with friends and family is very important and our amenities reflect that. The Cooperage lounge is an excellent place to enjoy a meal or a fireside chat. The Onyx offers an entertainment lounge where you can hangout with friends by the cozy fireplace overlooking Silver Lake in Waterloo Park. You can even enjoy a game of pool in the billiards room or organize a dinner party in the private dining room. Spend time with your family by the poolside this summer while enjoying some delicious barbecue. The Barrel Yards is also equipped with a 20-seat movie theatre, perfect for watching special event programming or movies
5. Get organized
Our luxury rental units have a spacious layout design. The espresso, maple or oak cabinetry and big closets allow space to stay organized. We love the Benjamin Franklin quote ‘a place for everything and everything in its place’.
