Drive-In Theatre Dates
Fun for the whole family! The City of Waterloo is hosting Movies in the Park-ing Lot for free into September 2021, with a selection of great family flicks and concessions available from Princess Cinemas. Stay up-to-date with the film and movie offerings HERE and be sure to register in advance as space is limited.
In Kitchener, enjoy the Drive-in Entertainment at On the Grand, located at 425 Bingemans Centre Drive. Find the movie listings HERE, pack your snacks, drinks, pillows, and blankets – and get ready to soak in life on the big screen, under the stars with your favourite people.
Sunset Campfires and S’mores
Snyders Family Farm is offering a unique, summer fun campfire experience for those looking to get off the beaten path and enjoy some rustic farm charm, sweet treats, and great company. Book your physically distant campfire for a small group of five, or a larger group of ten for only $20/person – complete with S’mores, and the option to order a farm-fresh pizza, apps, snacks, and tasty beverages, all delivered straight to your campfire. Art Walks Throughout Kitchener and Waterloo
Throughout 2021, and right in our own Barrel Yards neighbourhood – we’re thrilled to have the Waterloo Park Art Walk stretching from Caroline Street to Seagram Drive, featuring 24 pieces inspired by the nature and landscape of Waterloo Park. Don’t forget about the Uptown Waterloo Hughes Lane Art Walk, offering a modern and stimulating way to soak in some fresh air, exercise, and creative art.

Make Waves at Bingemans
